George Omwansa Okenyo – Managing Partner

George Omwansa Okenyo is the Managing Partner at Okenyo Omwansa Advocates LLP and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. With over a decade of legal experience, George specializes in corporate law, litigation, and governance, offering clients practical, effective, and strategic legal solutions.

He is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in his practice. Known for his keen legal insight and client-centred approach, George advises a wide range of individual and corporate clients, guiding them through complex legal challenges with clarity and confidence.

Zephania Onchiri – Senior Partner

Zephaniah ONCHIRI specialises in handling complex disputes and providing commercially driven legal advise. 

He specialises in commercial disputes, company restructuring, negligence claims, acquisitions, and high-end conveyancing transactions within the Republic.  

He has represented companies, directors, high net worth individuals across a wide range of industry sectors. 

His cases have included claims arising from breach of contract, negligence within the banking sector, debt actions. 

Noteworthy recent experience includes restructuring of a foreign Public Benefit Organization with a net worth of USD 1,000,000,000.00/=, Successfully striking out the claims of corporate Claimants in the High Court and pursuing a multi-million claim against a multi-national bank in Kenya. 

Sister Immaculate Muthoni – Partner

Sister Immaculate Muthoni is a seasoned lawyer with over six years of practical experience across diverse areas of law. She currently serves as a Legal Officer at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, where she provides legal advisory, drafts and reviews contracts, manages litigation, and ensures the university’s full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Her expertise spans employment and labour law, pension law, succession and estate planning, property transactions, commercial contracts, civil litigation, tax matters, data protection, and legal audits. Immaculate is particularly skilled in reviewing institutional processes to ensure compliance while identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.

Throughout her career, she has worked both in law firms and institutional settings, advising individual and corporate clients. She previously held positions at JK Felix & Smith Advocates LLP and KW EW Advocates LLP and gained extensive experience working with the Archdiocese of Nairobi, providing internal legal support.

Immaculate holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and graduated with First Class Honours from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She is an accredited legal auditor by the Law Society of Kenya, an accredited trainer with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), a registered member of the Law Society of Kenya, and a member of the Commission of Jurists, PAX Romana.

Passionate about legal education, Immaculate frequently conducts trainings and workshops on a wide range of topics, particularly labour law, pension law, succession, and data protection. She believes in empowering organizations to not only solve legal challenges but also prevent them through knowledge-sharing, strong policies, and regular legal audits.

Wambui Mwangi – Associate

Wambui Mwangi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an Associate at Okenyo Omwansa & Co. Advocates. With a proven track record of providing sound legal counsel and representation, Wambui combines deep legal knowledge with a client-centred approach in every matter she handles.

Her practice covers a wide range of areas, with particular expertise in family law, succession, commercial law, procurement law, employment and labour law, and conveyancing. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and commitment to achieving pragmatic and strategic outcomes for her clients.

Wambui regularly advises and represents clients in complex family and succession matters, including custody, divorce, maintenance, and probate proceedings.
